Dreamy Overnight Oats


Need breakfast on the go? I’ve got you sorted! This recipe is ideal for those who never have time to make a decent breakfast before work. I usually make this recipe whilst I’m waiting for dinner to cook or just after. It takes five minutes to make and I never get bored of it. Full of fibre, protein and beta glucans (in the oats) this is sure to make your heart and gut very happy!

I like to serve this with homemade granola, chia seeds and berries for added texture but you can add whatever you feel like, you could even grate some chocolate on there!

Ingredients - Serves 1-2

1 banana

1 tbsp peanut butter

1 tsp vanilla essence

2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup porridge oats

1 cup almond milk / milk of choice

2-3 tbsp yoghurt


1. Mash the banana with a fork in a mixing bowl. Then add the vanilla essence and peanut butter and mix until smooth.

2. Add the oats, milk and yoghurt and mix until everything is incorporated.

3. Then either divide the oats into small mason jars or cereal bowls, cover with clingfilm and leave overnight.

4. Serve with granola, chia seeds, fruit etc.
